My NEW Laptop

I am so happy that I have a new laptop!  It took a lot of babysitting, but that sure paid off.  It is a Compaq Presario CQ60.  It has a 15.6 inch screen and is great for watching DVD's on.  I have a whole bunch of stuff on it and it hasn't slowed down a bit.  It is very nice and is going to be a nice thing to have.  I love having it and being able to get more musid from iTunes.  (My mom wouldn't let me anymore because it was making our old computer really slow...   not that it was fast in the first place.)  Anyway, now I can do my blog again more often because I don't have to fight with my sisters over who gets to use the computer.
Hopefully more often,
Peyton Davis

Why I LOVE my Blog!

I love my blog.  It is very fun to be able to do it.  It is a way to do our work and still have our parents and friends be able to check our opinion.  It helps us express ourselves.  It makes me happy to have a blog that I can use to make myself heard.  It is very nice to be able to write what i want wherever I am.  In the car, at school and at home.  It is a way for me to get information out.  I don't like my blog...   I LOVE IT!!!!

You're a mean one Mr. Grinch...

This is Lyrics to a song written by Dr. Seuss...
You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
You really are a heel.
You're as cuddly as a cactus,
You're as charming as an eel.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a bad banana
With a greasy black peel.

 You're a monster, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's an empty hole.
Your brain is full of spiders,
You've got garlic in your soul.
Mr. Grinch.

 I wouldn't touch you, with a
thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole.

You're a vile one, Mr. Grinch.
You have termites in your smile.
You have all the tender sweetness
Of a seasick crocodile.
Mr. Grinch.

Given the choice between the two of you
I'd take the seasick crockodile.

You're a foul one, Mr. Grinch.
You're a nasty, wasty skunk.
Your heart is full of unwashed socks
Your soul is full of gunk.
Mr. Grinch.

The three words that best describe you,
are, and I quote: "Stink. Stank. Stunk."

 You're a rotter, Mr. Grinch.
You're the king of sinful sots.
Your heart's a dead tomato splot
With moldy purple spots,
Mr. Grinch.

Your soul is an apalling dump heap overflowing
with the most disgraceful assortment of deplorable
rubbish imaginable,
Mangled up in tangled up knots.

 You nauseate me, Mr. Grinch.
With a nauseaus super-naus.
You're a crooked jerky jockey
And you drive a crooked horse.
Mr. Grinch.

You're a three decker saurkraut and toadstool
sandwich
With arsenic sauce!

Snow... It's Everywhere!

Snow is Everywhere.  The snow was like 5 inches deep.  I wore my boots down to the stop.  When I got there it was 7:35.  The bus was not there yet.  I was happy because I thought that I had missed he bus.  My friends were there.  It was as cold as ice out there.  We made a fort and waited for a long time.  7:45 came and we were bored.  We waited until 8:05 when we decided to go home.  I was just about to start home when the bus came.  We were kind-of bummed.  We wanted to have a snow day.  We got to school 5 minutes late and now here I am...   I still can't believe how much snow we got.

Why or Why Not I Would Want to Live on A Farm!

I would NOT want to live on a farm.  First of all there is a lot of chores to do on a farm.  Not only that but you have to wake up really early.  I do not like animals that much...  especially cows.  If I lived on a farm I would probably end up running away.  It would stink...  in both ways.  Then I guess it could be fun to be able to eat fresh produce always.  I love fresh corn the most.  My Great-Grandma lives up in Logan.  Her property is kind of like a farm.  She has a garden and a whole field of corn.  She makes this really good Sweet-Corn.  I don't know what she does to it but it is amazing.  I love to visit her house.  She doesn't have any animals though so that makes me happy.  My other Grandma used to have a big Tomato plant in her back yard.  When my sister was little she would pick them off the plant and eat it like an apple.  She also used to call them "apies".  I kind of wish that we had a garden to eat out of...    as long as I didn't have to do the work...

SHOPPING!

' Tis the season for shopping.  I love to go shopping at this time of year.  I recently got an iPod.  It  was a hard decision to make.  But believe me it was worth every penny.  I love to go shopping for other people's presents.  It makes me feel very good to give other people presents.  Whenever I go shopping I feel that I am rich.  It is very fun to go shopping for video games.  However I am more excited when my mom goes shopping for Christmas Presents.  I can't wait for Christmas to come.  I saw a Christmas tree today and it made made me very hyper.  In fact I can't wait to even get home and see if there is any presents under the tree for me...

A Place That I Have Visited

A while ago I went to Portland, Oregon for Christmas.  It was very interesting to go there.  When we got there it was early Christmas Eve.  We went in and put our things down.  Most of my family from all over the county was there.  My cousins from Miami, Florida came.  They are Jakie and Luke.  They were 18 and 15.  Luke is very energetic and would not let us sleep at night.  One night we stayed up till 4 in the morning playing Ticket To Ride.  My Aunt, Casey, from Ogden was there.  She was very happy for all of us to be there.  She is the Gamer of the family and was very fun to play with.  The residents of the house that we were staying in are my cousins from Oregon.  They are twins that are 16 and my cousin that was 9.  Their names are Maddie, Mikaela and Abbie.  It was a very fun vacation. My aunt made us all shirts that said Tualaogaorawestindentilvile.( All of the cities that we live in combined to one.)  It was a wonderful experience.

Music That I Like...

I don't like music...   I LOVE it.  When ever I have time I always listen to music.  I have an iPod that is loaded with tons of music.  I plug it up to my iBed.  I blast it so loud that my room shakes...  jk.  I still turn it up very loud.  I enjoy country music the most.  I love to listen to it especially Sugarland.  My dad got me into them. Now it is almost all that I listen to.

My Family

My family is very interesting.  I have 4 sisters and no brothers.  It is like I live in a world of Barbie's and Dress-Up.  I wish I had a brother...  as long as he wouldn't drive me too crazy.  Anyway I am going to talk about my sister's.  The youngest one is named Sara.  She is very cute.  Sara is 15months old.  She is like an angel...  except for when she doesn't get hat she wants.  Last night, I was laying on the couch.  She wasn't in the room so I went and got her blanket.  When she came in the room she crawled over to me and took of the blanket.  She crawled away and didn't even use it.  When I picked it up again she screamed.  My second youngest sister is 3years old.  She acts like a dog.  Her name is Annie.  Like I said she is like a dog.  She barks and eats bugs off of the window.  She is very fun to play with and we all love her.  Annie is very aggressive and is not afraid to bite.  My third youngest sister is 6years old.  Her name is Rachel.  She is the Drama-Queen pretty girl.  Whenever we go to the store she always has to buy make-up.  She puts it on a lot and love to dance around and Dress-Up.  Finally, there's Lainey.  She is the sporty girl that loves to go to her friends house's.  She is 9years old.  She is like my best friend.  We love to play together and both love all of our sisters.

Wilde.  Ican't wait to be able to have more fun in all of my class'.

When I am 16...

When I am sixteen I would want to go to East America.  I would see all of the Monuments there and go to Museum's.  It would be very fun.  My family would rent a R.V.  It would be very fun to go there with my family.  By the time I am sixteen I would at least want to have 3 of my books published.  It is very exciting to think that I might actually make money off of them someday.  Right now I am writing part 2 of my novel and starting a new one.  it is about a family from the future...   hey you'll just have to read it to find out.  It will be on here soon.

Drug Abuse

Today we had an assembly on Drug Abuse.  We learned that drugs are very bad for you.  Just take a minute to imagine an ideal life.  You probably would not be able to have that life if you did drugs.  You would be spending most of your money on drugs and wouldn't have enough money to care for yourself.
Even the most common household items can be dangerous.  Take glue for an example, If you inhaled too much you would be killing braincells and become less aware of what's going on.  Things like gasoline and other chemicals are also very dangerous.  Believe me you will live a much happier life if you do not do drugs.

Goodbye

I am very sad right now.  One of my best friends is moving to Alaska on Nov. 20th.  Her name is Sierra.  It makes me very sad to have to say "goodbye" to her.  She has been a very nice friend.  I really hoped that she could at least stay until school was over.  I have been dreading days until she has to move.
On a much happier note I am glad to tell you that it is not that long before Thanksgiving is here.

Cold Days

Some days when it is cold I like to read a book.  A book is like a retreat from the world around you.  To me a book is a very cozy and wonderful thing.  I just recently finished one of my favorite series.  It is the "Leven Thumps" Series.   The author is Obert Skye.  He is a very wonderful author.  I can't wait for his new series to come out.  It is called "Geth".  Whenever I read a book I like to do it on my couch.  It makes me feel good inside after I read a good book.

Costumes!!

My family has lots of kids.  Every year we try to figure out costumes for everyone.  This year I am being Elvis.  My 9 year old sister is being Cleopatra.  My 6 year old sister is being a Rock Star from the 60's.  My 2 year old sister is being a bee. ( she loves it so much we couldn't get her to take it off.)  My 18 month old sister is being a witch.  Her shirt says"Daddy's under My Spell".  It is so cute.  My dad is being a dead man with White Hair.  My mom is being Rudolf the red Nosed Reindeer.  My Aunt Kristy is being Little Red Riding Hood.  My Aunt Casey is being a modern angel.  She says that she is doing it for the pretty make-up.  I am planing on going Trick-or-Treating in Shadow Valley.  HALLOWEEN ROCKS!

(I am going to get pictures of all of us on Halloween...    OK)

Most Scary Thing

The most scary thing to me is a bad dream.  I always have one particular dream right before I get sick.  It is of me trying to do something that I can not do.  I wake up and can't remember what it was...   That is Scary.  My dad has the same thing happen to him.  His dream is when he has to catch sticks that are falling down.  At first they are slow and then they start to speed up.  He wakes up and then within 3 hours get sick.  I just want to remember what that dream is about.  It makes me so frustrated when I cant remember what happens in the dream.  So hopefully, when I have that dream again I can remember what it is about.  Be sure to leave a comment on what scares you the most...

Scary Movies!!

Today in Mr. Weaver's class, we are watching "Watcher in the Woods".  It is scary...   I might wet my pants!  Just kidding, I am not going to wet my pants.  Anyway, I am so excited for it.  Speaking of that I better get going...  One more thing.  I need to report about Community of Caring Night.  It was so fun.  It did start to snow a little bit.  The Jack-o-Lanterns were amazing.  It was so fun,   Bye.

Halloween!

I am so excited for Halloween.  It seemed like a few days ago school was starting...   now it's almost Halloween.  I am going to hang out with friends and family.  Also in Mr. Weaver's class we are watching "Watcher in the Woods".  I can't wait.  EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPP!!!!  I just can't wait for it to be here.  Oh, by the way Community of Caring Night is tommorrow.  It is at Golden Jade, Javiers and Wisebirg Bookery.  Anything you spend there is 10% back to Mount Ogden Junior High School.  Most of my friends are going to read poems in Wisebirg.  Anyway, it is hopefuly not going to be snowing...  Hope to see you there.

Too-Much-Family-Syndrom

This week we have had a lot of family come into town.  Last Saturday my cousin Luke (16) came and stayed in town.  He sleeps longer than a dead man.  He went to bed at 8:30PM and didn't wake up till 12 Noon.  He is really fun to play with,(that is if he isn't sleeping).  So then we went hunting with him and he slept almost the whole intire time.  On Wednesday my Aunt Kelly came to stay with us.  She slept in my room.  (I was glad I got to sleep with Luke, and when I say sleep I mean party all night long)...   Anyway then on Saturday my other aunt, Kristy came from New York.  Because our house was the main gathering point, everyone else that lives close came too.  Our house has been like a giant never-ending family reuinion. At first it was fun...  what am I saying?, it was fun the whole time!
Well, Kelly and Luke are gone, And Kristy is staying at one of my aunts, Casey's house.  I am tired now and have to go to sleep...  I'm just happy I get to do it in my own bed. : ) : ) : ) : )

The Rules at School!!

Here a Mount Ogden Junior High we have a lot of rules.  There are rules about dressing, hall behavior and even class expectations.  Our school moto is "Failure is not an option; Achievement is the only option".  The rule with the most restrictions would have to be the Dress Code.  Let's start with the basics...  hoodies.  The only hoodies you can were are plain or School Hoodies.  Collared shirts can have logo's and designs while non-collared shirts can only have a plain design or a logo smaller than a quarter.  NO SCREEN PRINT!!!!   In the hall there is NO RUNNING!  Let me just say  MY SCHOOL RULES (in both ways).

Honesty

Being honest is very important.  I know that when I am told something dishonest it makes me mad.  That includes joking and betting.  If someone told you to go jump in a freezing cold lake and they would give you 50$.  Lets say you did it and they did not pay up...  would you believe them anymore...  I know I wouldn't. It is exactly like the boy who cried wolf.
Let's say your teacher assigned some homework that was due the very next day.  You go home and your mom asks if you have homework.  You say no so you can go and play video-games.  What do you think your mom will say when she gets a call home from you.  Your mom would probably loose trust in you.
If you go to a store and steal something that makes you fell bad inside.  So does lying So Don't do it.
 LYING

Toddlers

Toddlers are a very weird subject.  It is like they are compelled to do bad things.  With that they are also very cute.  Speaking of toddlers it is my sisters birthday today.  She is turning 3 years old.  She has been very bad lately.  We say she is going through her terrible twos.  Hopefully now that she is 3, she will be better.
I had the "opportunity" (as my mom calls it) to watch my 4 younger sisters.  Annie was being a terror as usual so I calmed her down by having her watch as she calls it "Fishy"(Finding Nemo.)  That made her a bit better.  She is still cute and is like an angel in the morning.  She loves baths and says "I wanna takakakaka bath".  As a child she was an angel and was probably the most content baby in the world.  I also have another sister who is an angel now...  I hope she doesn't go too bad when she turns two...

STOMPTACULAR

I just got home from one of the most fun days of my life.  I went to the Stomptacular after school today.  There was tons of fun games, bounce houses, obstacle courses, blow-up slides, jousting, free stuff and friends.  It went from 2:15-5:00.  The most fun thing would have to be the blow-up obstacle courses.  It was only 4$ to get in and 1$ to eat dinner.  The most fun game was probobally "Balloon Pop".  It was fun to see people from your classes and not be in school.  We also had a "Pie Eating Contest" where it was fun to watch people stuff their faces with pie.  Overall it was very fun.  I can't wait till next years Stomptacular.

Junior High

Mount Ogden Junior high is an amazing school to go to.  It is very different than last year in Elementary School.  I like the fact that we get to switch classes a lot.  The lunch is definitely better than last year.  My teachers are very nice.  One thing I do not like that much is waking up an hour earlier.  Our principal is Mr. Wilson.  He is so nice.
Tonight we have the school Stomptacular to go to.  It is like a carnival with bounce houses, food, games and most of all friends.  Be sure to check out my book...  Stuck in 2-D.  Also soon I will have the begining of Enhanced on here too.
That's it for now,
Peyton Davis

Enhanced

I am also in the process of writing Enhanced. This book is about a family of 7 who run into one of their dad's old college. His name was Ivan but he was a mad scientist who liked to be called Professor Brains. He did not like their dad. He ran into them and everyone was okay besides the dad... who died. Ivan had been working on physical enhancement devices. When those two cars collided the chips went into the children. They get super powers and soon have to save the world from that's right... Prof. Brains.   Click Here to Read It Now!!!

Stuck in 2-D

Stuck in 2-D is a novel that I wrote.  It is about two kids who get a game for Christmas.  When they beat the first level they get sucked up into it by mistake.  In this story they fight Nukies, dodge invisible mines, meet new friends and have to together defeat Giotron.  In doing all of these things they learn that even when in absolute dought teamwork and eachother are the most important thing of all...  Click Here to Read it Now!!!

How's Life Goin'

Life is good right now. I am siting in Mr. Weaver's class. I am very new to this and hope I don't look like a fool. The book that I am reading right now is Leven Thumps and the Ruins of Alder. It is very good. I highly recommend Obert Skye's books. He is coming out with a new series called Geth. The first book in the series is called Geth and the Return of the Lithens. I am so excited for it to come out. I don't think it will come out until sometime next year. Brandon Mull's series Fablehaven has the last book that comes out on March 29 2010.
